excellent experience. I took a party of 12 there on Saturday. even though it was a little tight. staff was attentive and friendly. food was amazing. all of us had a great time. a reservation is recommended. very popular place on weekends.
First time here driven by many times over the years and wondered what it was like. The food was great!! The servings were a good size. The fish is very fresh. The place was packed. Will definitely be back soon.
I would caution people concerned about chemicals leaching into food eating soup here. Soup bowls and spoons at this restaurant are all made of melamine resin and according to the FDA should not be used to heat food or hold hot foods. Eating out of hot plastic dishes is generally not a good idea.I encourage the owner to replace melamine soup bowls with lead free ceramic or lead free stone. This is one of the reasons we rarely eat out. Other than that, the staff is nice and the food is great. Tempura is the best I have ever had. Period. Soba noodles are also very good, cooked almost perfectly. Place itself is a bit dark and depressing inside though. It needs windows and a facelift.
This is one of those places where you cannot judge from the look of the restaurant. The sushi is absolutely amazing, and the service is equally as amazing! We have been here twice now, and they bring you complimentary dishes when they're busy as their way to say sorry for the food taking longer. However, they're very fast and by the time we recieved the complementary food and are half way through it our sushi starts rolling in. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could. Highly recommend.
Worth the drive to this quaint little Japanese restaurant. Food is very good and reasonably priced. Would visit again .
