Nice quiet place to fish but definitely avoid on sunny days because there is no shelter or shade. Bring big spray. Mostly sunfish, so it's fun for the kids to practice!
Love going fishing here. The water is like glassmin the morning. Some walking trails around as well. Well cared for. The staff are awesome. Please visit this park. Bring a canoe or kayak if you got it.
This is one of my favorite spots within a few minutes from Brampton. Like other people said, the staff is always very nice and friendly. You can rent boats or canoes. Fishing rods rentals are free but they do require a $ 20 deposit. Wonderful place to bring kids for some outdoor fun. You can also hike the trail next to it. Definitely reccomend this place.
Not a good place for family outing as no place with shade to sit around,not a picnic place like most of the conservation area , may be good when temperature is low to tolerate the sunshine but good for small bass fishing. Very long walking around the lake so not recommended if you are not ready to walk back that much under the sun.
