I've been to a good number of weddings in the past few years but Caledon Mountain Events has stood out to me as the most beautiful venue in southern Ontario. I would recommend this venue to anyone and I can't wait to attend more events here in the future. There's something to be said about "unique venues" and this place is truly one of a kind - the breathtaking mountaintop views from the top of the escarpment and the top-to-bottom tent drapery. There's a lot of attention to detail and execution.
Hosted a company summer party and must say they did an amazing job. The organization was great for my office for planning and Mike helped alot with getting everything setup. Truly enjoyed the lovely views and great experience
We just recently had our weeding and we absolutely loved our experience at CME. Mike and his team were absolutely amazing to work with. Our wedding had a few changes on the fly and Mike and his crew really stepped up to accomdate them. The venue is so well maintained and the beautiful lighting at night really compliments the look. Strongly recommend CME for any agreement or wedding.
CME was an absolutely beautiful venue, and my husband and I are incredibly happy to say that everything on our wedding day had gone as planned. Sophia, the Venue Manager, was very helpful throughout the wedding planning process with organizing the logistics. We're grateful for her. However, there were a few unexpected hiccups that I'd caution about. For example, there'd been a time when we'd arranged to visit the venue prior to our wedding day, which was coordinated with Sophia's help. However, this was never communicated to our on-site contact Mike. In the end, the venue visit was extremely unhelpful. With only 3 mins to speak to Mike on-site, it was a waste of our time, and our families' time. On the day of and a few days leading up to the wedding, there was some unreliable communication and poor/uncalled-for attitude that we'd received from our onsite coordinator Mike. In fact, he'd been under the impression that our wedding started an hour after it was planned to start, even after this was clearly communicated to him the day before. He did not leave a positive impression on us. All in all, a wonderful venue, though it's unfortunate that there were some unexpected issues with the management/site team. Unfortunately for that reason, I'd rate 2-3 stars.
I met with Mike a few months ago. It was a pleasure meeting him. The location he chose for us was amazing from start to finish. His communication was unbelievable and he gave us exactly what we wanted. I couldn’t ask for a better team his attention to detail and compassion to our culture was respected the whole way through solid company solid individual
Absolutely beautiful venue, but at the cost of horrible service and planning. If you'd like added stress on your wedding day, then this is your venue. Mike was great and everything was fine up until the day of the actual event. We had arranged for vendors to show up early, but the gates were locked with no response from Mike for over an hour making setup extremely challenging (one other reviewer mentioned this so believe it). Additionally were told everything would be setup (tables and chairs) for the morning, but our decorators arrived and nothing was ready. We had even offered to go the night before and help with setup, but was told there was no need since everything would already be placed (this was clearly not true). There was a massive scramble to get everything ready and our layout was completely wrong due to this. To top it off the sound system inside the tent is lacklustre. Obviously guests will not know anything about the behind the scenes organization, but as the bride or groom be prepared for organizational gaps that compound into near chaos. Overall it is a beautiful venue, but not worth the extra headache on your special day. I would not do a large event here requiring a lot of coordination, especially if you are doing any sort of Indian wedding.
I had an amazing experience with the team at Caledon Mountain Events. I booked my engagement photoshoot at this venue and I could not have gotten better photos. The scenery and the views are unmatched. I loved the escarpment views, the gardens, and hidden waterfalls. The staff are so flexible and passionate about what they do - they were very involved in making sure I had everything I needed for my shoot. Looking forward to hosting my wedding here next summer! We later booked our day here and had tours! The service and staff were amazing! Looking forward to having another event here!
